Ten Q was about to flip to Spanish. 

M.G. had three choices:

(1) Brush up on his language skills.

(2) Join another radio station.

(3) Take a seat on the casting couch.

On Kelly's last show at KTNQ he was joined by Gary Sandy, one of the stars of a new TV series about a radio station called, "WKRP in Cincinnati." That night Hugh Wilson, the show's creator and writer/producer, called M.G. on the request line.  During the conversation, Wilson invited Kelly to guest star on WKRP'S next episode entitled, "Fish Story."  It became the second highest rated episode in the history of WKRP.  Number one was their Thanksgiving show where they dropped turkeys out of a plane and then realized they couldn't fly... but that's another story.  Check out this one!
