This brings us to December 1977 and very close to the end of M.G. Kelly's days at KHJ.

He was told, "The station is about to change directions.  We are going to start to mellow out a bit and we need you to stop yelling your name.  Also, please refrain from any other wild antics during your air shift."

Of course, Kelly has always been willing to conform to what others want him to be, so this is what the show sounded like after receiving his new instructions.
